Shipping, Delivery and Return Policy

POLICIES OF SHIPPING, DELIVERY, RETURN AND CLAIMS

At Noria Tiles, we ship our products to any destination in the US from our Miami, Florida warehouse.

Please contact us at info@noriatiles.com for more information regarding international and domestic shipping.

Lead times for production and delivery depend on your chosen product and the quantity you order. Some tiles, such as Moroccan Zellige and Bejmat tiles, may be available for Express Delivery with a 7 to 10 day lead time. Produce-to-order tiles may have a lead time of up to 12 to 24 weeks. Please check our website for current lead times.

The expected lead time is shown on each product page. Please read the product description carefully. When you proceed to checkout, the delivery cost will be calculated based on your location and the quantity of your order.

Please be aware that delivery and lead times are estimates only. We do our best to get your tiles to you as quickly as possible, in perfect condition, and at the best price.

We strongly advise booking your tile installation only after the tiles have been delivered. Noria Tiles will not be held responsible for any contractor fees related to project delivery delays.

There is a minimum order quantity for all tiles. Full details will be clearly displayed on the product page.


AFTER PLACING YOUR ORDER

Once your order is placed, we will begin preparing it right away. When it is ready, the delivery company will contact you to arrange a convenient delivery time. Please be prepared to schedule this appointment within 24 hours of receiving their call, as delays may result in storage fees or additional costs for rescheduling.

Missed delivery appointments can be costly. If you miss more than one scheduled appointment, you may incur significant charges from the delivery company, which will be billed to you.

Noria Tiles works with third-party carriers and is not responsible for their policies or charges.

Any change to the delivery address will incur a charge that must be approved before the carrier will deliver to the new destination. These charges will be billed to the customer.

Someone must be present at the delivery location to sign for and receive the tiles. If the purchaser is not present, the person receiving the shipment must have full details of the order. Noria Tiles accepts no responsibility for claims related to missing materials or damage when these policies are not followed.

Your tiles will be removed from the delivery vehicle using a lift gate and placed on the pavement in front of your property. You are responsible for moving them from there into your home. Please note that boxes can weigh up to 50 lbs each, so please plan accordingly.


ON DELIVERY DAY

Inspect each box as it arrives. Look for any external signs of damage such as torn, wrinkled, or open boxes, as these may indicate damage to the tiles inside. Report any such damage before accepting the delivery.

Even if boxes appear undamaged, open two or three of them to inspect the tiles inside. If you find any hidden damage, note it on the delivery receipt before signing.

Check that the number of boxes matches the packing slip and the Bill of Lading. Note any discrepancies on the Bill of Lading before signing and return it to the driver.

Do not refuse to accept damaged items. Doing so will only delay the replacement process and may result in additional return shipping costs.

CHECKLIST

  • Confirm you have received the correct number of boxes.
  • Verify that the correct product has been delivered.
  • Note any external damage to the boxes.
  • Make a written note of any damaged tiles.

Please email us at info@noriatiles.com within 48 hours of receiving your delivery with full details of any missing or damaged items.


IMPORTANT NOTE

It is considered normal for between 5 and 10 percent of tiles in any order to arrive with minor damage. Most of our tiles are handmade and packed with care, but breakage during transit can happen.

We recommend ordering at least 15 percent more than your project requires to account for damage, breakage, and cutting losses.

With handmade tiles, slight variations in surface texture and color are completely normal and are part of the beauty of a handcrafted product, not a defect.

If you did not notice damage at delivery but discover it later, email us at info@noriatiles.com within 48 hours. We will initiate a claim on your behalf and send replacement tiles.

Failure to report concealed damage within 48 hours means you will be responsible for purchasing replacement material and negotiating directly with the delivery company, which can take up to 30 days.

Noria Tiles cannot file any claim or process any refunds or replacements outside of this 48-hour window.


INSTALLING YOUR TILES

Do not begin installation until your complete order is at the project site. If you are awaiting replacement tiles, wait for their arrival and confirm they are in good condition before starting work.


RETURNS AND REFUNDS

Noria Tiles does not accept returns of tiles, whether opened or unopened. Once tiles leave our warehouse, we cannot control storage or transportation conditions, and returned tiles may not be resaleable.

We encourage you to order samples before placing a full order so you are familiar with the natural variations that occur in handmade tiles.

Noria Tiles may issue a partial or full refund following a detailed inspection in cases involving severe shipping damage caused by third parties, wrong product delivery, faulty production beyond the nature of handmade tiles, or unusual circumstances not caused by the customer.


CANCELLATIONS

Cancellation requests can only be made within three hours of receiving your order confirmation email. We advise reviewing your order carefully before placing it, as cancellations after this window cannot be accepted.

OUR RIGHT TO REFUSE AN ORDER

Noria Tiles reserves the right to cancel any order with or without reason. If this becomes necessary, the customer will be notified within 24 hours.


HOW ARE MY TILES DELIVERED?

Noria Tiles uses third-party carriers for all deliveries and is not responsible for their policies.

Once your order has left our warehouse, the delivery company will call you to schedule a delivery time. Please schedule within 24 hours of receiving their call to avoid storage fees or additional costs.

Note any damage on the delivery receipt at the time of delivery. If you discover damage afterward, contact us at info@noriatiles.com within 48 hours so we can initiate a claim on your behalf.


WHAT IS CONSIDERED DAMAGE?

All our tiles are handmade from breakable materials. We select and pack them by hand, but some breakage during shipping is expected. Between 2 and 5 percent of an order may arrive in less than perfect condition, which is why we recommend ordering 15 percent more than your calculated need.

Breakage within 5 to 10 percent of an order is considered normal and will not be replaced or compensated. Only losses exceeding 10 percent are eligible for replacement.

Please accept both damaged and undamaged items on delivery. Refusing a shipment will slow down the replacement process and may result in additional fees.

All our tiles have slight natural variations as they are handcrafted. These are not defects and will not be replaced. Our Moroccan Zellige and Bejmat tiles are each hand-chiseled, dried, kiln-fired, and glazed by hand, making every piece unique. Variations in glaze color between batches are expected and are part of what makes these tiles exceptional.
